Lauren’s trademark style is meaningful and functional rooms with warmth and character styled for elevated comfort. Exuding a crisp, polished simplicity, her designs achieve depth through the tethering of new and old treasures.
Lauren’s interiors are rooted both in her skills as a storyteller and her experience as a home renovator and restorer. She was a top editor at a NYC newspaper (VOGUE called her “an editor making headlines”) when she embarked on her third home renovation, a four-story brownstone. The project attracted clients, she open her doors as a designer, founding FOUR STORIES, and never looked back.
Lauren has a gift for pulling diverse pieces together to create pleasing compositions. She is adept at sussing out what’s most important and meaningful to her clients and is hyper-attentive to every last detail.
Her passion is helping others to live happier by re-envisioning their homes into uniquely personalized spaces maximized for gathering and spending time together.
